    In the LIGHTS class, we enhance our little actors' social skills with an intro to improvisation through weekly activities and games.

How long is a season at Acting for Kids?

Each season of Acting for Kids classes is 12 weeks long

When do classes run?

Classes take place once a week on Wednesdays for all age groups.

What is the duration of each class?

For our Light students, classes run for 30 minutes.

For Camera students, classes run for 45 minutes.

For Action students, classes run for 1 hour.

What does my child need to wear for classes?

Acting for Kids requires our students to wear sneakers, loose-fitted black pants and a T-shirts that matches the colour of their class group:

Lights (yellow)

Camera (red)

Action (blue)

What if I am not able to attend a class?

At this time, we do not provide make-up classes provided, so we encourage students to attend every week. We are fully aware that things happen, and our teachers will do their best to do a recap of the previous class for the benefit of absentee students.  

Will I be able to watch my child’s class?

Parents are welcome to sit in on our classes except for the last three weeks before our performance date. You are, however, welcome to stay on the premises until class is over.

Why am I not allowed to watch the last three classes?

We start to work on our showcase within the last three weeks and would love to keep the element of surprise for all our audience members.

How much notice should I give if I cannot continue Acting for Kids?

Students may withdraw from our program up to two weeks prior to the first class and receive a full refund. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable. 

If you have already started classes, students can withdraw two weeks before the next scheduled payment.
